2024 CONFERENCE SPEAKER - Amy gaines
Amy Gaines, Vice President of Product Management & Technology at Ellucian, brings over 15 years of expertise in innovative service to and product development within the Higher Education sector. Amy leads the product team responsible for supporting the student and employee lifecycle and is passionate about streamlining and simplifying the student experience. Throughout her career, Amy has held impactful roles in both Services and Product Management. She has been instrumental in implementing new software across many different types of institutions, operationalizing comprehensive strategies to guide decision-making among Product Leaders, modernizing cloud service offerings, and transitioning Higher Education institutions to Ellucian SaaS. As a key leader for Ellucian’s products, Amy is known for her commitment to customer satisfaction and transformation. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia College & State University and actively supports an elementary school STEM program in her home state of Georgia.
2024 CONFERENCE SPEAKER - David Vinson
Dr. David Vinson will be our guest speaker during lunch on Tuesday. He is the Superintendent of Schools for the Wylie Independent School District in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. He has more than 32 years of experience in public education throughout the state of Texas ranging from teacher, gifted talented coordinator, technology director and many other positions in School Administration. He previously was the Superintendent of Floresville ISD in South Texas. His educational career has been devoted to implementing character education, as well as academic excellence in all schools in which he has been associated. He is a national leader in character education, a devoted believer in GRIT, WELL-BEING, HOPE, and HAPPINESS.
Dr. Vinson holds three degrees from Texas Tech University: a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing, Master of Education and a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction.
