The Election Committee, consisting of current and past CoHEsion members, review submitted nominations and recommend a slate of candidates for approval to the CoHEsion Board of Directors. The Board receives and approves the slate of candidates each year. The approved candidates are voted on (as an entire slate) at the annual CoHEsion Summit Conference.
Banner Development Manager
Clemson University
I have been working with Banner since 2002, in a variety of roles. I have primarily worked with Banner Student, Financial Aid, General, and all of the Self Service 9 applications. Over the years, I have served as both a functional business analyst as well as a PL/SQL programmer and report developer. What I have found is that Banner is a very configurable system that can serve most of the needs of an institution, and one of its strengths is the number of individuals across institutions that are willing to respond to questions and share solutions. I see CoHesion as an excellent vehicle for this as well and would like to help the organization achieve that goal. In the past I have served on the Board of Directors for SETA, and presented at many conferences, most recently the 2023 CoHesion conference in Kansas City. Prior to working with Banner, I worked on the IA-PLUS systems as far back as 1986. I look forward to working with everyone to promote learning and sharing amongst the membership!
Database Administrator
National Louis University
My name is Bob Landuyt and I am currently employed by National Louis University (NLU) as the DBA for the LITS team. I have been with NLU for 4 years. Previous to this, I was employed by Concordia Administrative Information System (CAIS) from January 2014 through September 2020. I earned my baccalaureate degree from Saint Xavier University in 2014. I was introduced to CoHEsion during the 2014 conferences in Chicago and in Austin. It did not take me long to feel comfortable with this group of outstanding individuals. I am currently serving on CoHEsion’s Board of Directors as Director of Vendor Relations. Prior to joining the board, I volunteered for conferences from 2015 through 2019. Unfortunately, I was unable to participate in the 2020 conference due to the time constraints while in the process of closing CAIS. I was fortunate enough to land at NLU where I am able to continue my relationship with CoHEsion.
On a personnel level, I am married and have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. I was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2009. My interests include woodworking, sports and playing guitar. I feel honored to be reconsidered for a board member position. I take this responsibility very seriously and try to bring all my talents for the good of CoHEsion.
