My name is Bob Landuyt and I am currently employed by National Louis University (NLU) as the ERP Technical Lead and DBA Support. I have been with NLU for 11 months. September 8 will be my 1-year anniversary. Previous to this, I was employed by Concordia Administrative Information System (CAIS) from January 2014 through September 2020. My position there was DBA. I earned my baccalaureate degree from Saint Xavier University in 2014. I was introduced to CoHEsion during the 2014 conferences in Chicago and in Austin. It did not take me long to feel comfortable at the conferences. This was the first time I was introduced to a group like this. Previous to my employment at CAIS, I had never attended any conferences. Since then, I have volunteered for every conference held. Unfortunately, I had to resign from the 2020 conference where I unable to fulfill the requirements due to more time constraints while closing my current employment and switching jobs.
On a personnel level, I am married and have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. I was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2019. My interests include woodworking, sports and playing guitar. I feel honored to be considered for a board member position and, if elected, will take this responsibility very seriously and try to bring all my talents for the good of CoHEsion.
